Over 6500 visitors and great satisfaction of the 155 exhibitors
WINE ENOVITIS IN CAMPO 2018: THE EVENT IS ONCE AGAIN A REFERENCE POINT FOR THE ITALIAN WINE INDUSTRY AND FOCUSES ON INTERNATIONALISATION
Castelletti (UIV): "Great satisfaction about the attendance of foreign delegations and exhibitors".
Verona 26 June 2018 – "We are really excited about this thirteenth edition of Enovitis in Campo, which welcomed over 6500 visitors. What has made us even more proud is the strong presence of foreign visitors, with the two Bulgarian and Slovenian delegations and other visitors from Algeria, Greece, Romania in particular, which confirms the importance of the event for the wine sector on both an Italian and international level. The topics covered in the workshops and conferences dedicated to resistant vines also met with great success, attended by important scientific and political authorities who discussed and proposed solutions for the future of the sector. We should like to thank the agricultural company "Il Naviglio" that hosted us this year and look forward to seeing you next year in Tuscany, for an edition that we are confident will repeat the success here in Emilia".
This is how Paolo Castelletti, Secretary General of the UIV spoke about the figures achieved during the 13rd Edition of Enovitis in Campo, an event organised by the UIV and Veronafiere, which ended between the vines of the agricultural company "il Naviglio", Fabbrico (Re) on 22 June.
"This year once again, Enovitis in Campo proved its ability to represent innovation applied to technologies dedicated to the vineyard in a broad, cross-discipline manner – said Giovanni Mantovani, General Manager of Veronafiere –. This is a highly specialised sector which is another source of pride for the Italian mechanical engineering industry and is a driver of development that is increasingly necessary for the future of the wine sector in terms of environmental and economic sustainability. This year's edition closed on a positive note, showing growth both in terms of the quality and the international profile of the buyers present, regarding both the products shown and the contents of the workshops: a sign that the Veronafiere-Fieragricola and UIV partnership continues to make a difference in concrete terms".
The visitors came from all regions of Italy, including the southern regions: Emilia Romagna was the first region, with Reggio Emilia in the lead, followed by Modena and Ravenna, Bologna. Many visitors from Veneto - Verona, Treviso, Padua - and also from Lombardy, in particular from Brescia, Mantua and Pavia. Huge participation from abroad too, especially from Algeria, Greece, Romania, the Netherlands, Serbia, France, Spain, Hungary, Pakistan and Turkey, as well as Bangladesh, Georgia, Germany and Russia.
"The local production companies are very satisfied with the visibility that this edition of Enovitis in Campo has managed to give the Emilia-Romagna wine sector - Corrado Casoli di Cantine Riunite & Civ commented. Many of our members were keen to participate in the event, appreciating the technological level of exhibitors and the workshops organised, which identified and dealt with the hot industry issues of the moment."
The absolute star was technology. The large number of machines on display confirmed the significance of the event for the industry, the only event where you can see the most cutting-edge products for wine making actually at work. Moreover, as usual, Enovitis in Campo offered visitors and industry players several training sessions, addressing in particular the issues and prospects regarding the future sustainability of vineyards.
In addition to the traditional prize-giving ceremony for the "New Technology" Innovation Challenge – won by Rex 4-120 Gt by Landini, Fendt 200 Vfp Vario by Agco Italy spa, Ibisco by Gowan Italia srl – the event, to celebrate its 20 years, also gave an award to loyal Enovitis exhibitors (A. Spedo & Figli srl, Landini - Argo Tractors spa, CNH Industrial Italy spa, Martignani srl, Nobili spa, Rinieri srl and Same Deutz-Fahr Italia spa), present since its inception. Furthermore, the great news of this edition was "Vote the Vineyard", an event organised by UIV and macgest.com, dedicated to machinery for the phytosanitary protection of the vineyard, with a focus on sprayer machines. In this new contest, winemakers, technicians and entrepreneurs have been awarded prizes in each of the three categories included in the "Enovitis in Campo 2018 Sprayer": the Synthesis range "mechanical sprayer" by Caffini, the Ventis FF -Pro "Pneumatic Sprayer" by Nobili and the Whirlwind Duo Wing Jet "Recovery Device" by Martignani. Finally, the recognition of "Top Seller", that is the most voted manufacturer for "last purchase" was awarded to the company Cima spa.
(BELOW ARE THE MOTIVATIONS FOR THE WINNING PRODUCTS)
After this great success, Enovitis in Campo is already preparing for the next edition, scheduled for 2019 in Tuscany.
