Edition 2010
How to select the most suitable machine to manage and work one’s own vineyard? By seeing it at work “on the field”, compared with other competitors. All this is possible at “ENOVITIS IN CAMPO”, an exhibition that is unique of its kind and that takes place in a real vineyard. The appointment is for 17 and 18 June at the farm Ca’ Tron, Roncade (Treviso), where there is also an interesting experimental vineyard.
Unique of its kind, the exhibition ENOVITIS IN CAMPO is back again next 17 and 18 June at the farm Ca’ Tron, at Roncade (Treviso). As an ideal continuation of the Milan trade show Enovitis, - International Vine and Olive Growing Technics Exhibition - whose last edition successfully took place last November in the fairground of Fiera Milano, “ENOVITIS IN CAMPO” offers the opportunity to see hundreds of state-of-the-art vine-growing machines and equipment at work in a real vineyard. Therefore, it is possible to personally compare performances and technical results and weigh the different proposals available in the Italian and international markets, with the perspective of a sound competitiveness.
Password: to test. For almost 15 years this has been the “thread” running through ENOVITIS IN CAMPO, the two-day show dedicated to the trial of innovative machines and equipment in the vineyard. Every two years, this event offers a complete product overview: from the vineyard plantation to the treatments, from the equipment for ground and vineyard work (farm tractors, grubbers, tillers, rotary cultivators, pruning machines, leaf removers, headers, etc.) to the different models of grape-harvesters, suitable for any type of vine rows. In addition, there are even vineyard products and materials (stakes, wires, fertilizers, phytosanitary products, etc.) The location hosting the seventh edition of this exhibition is really attuned to the philosophy of ENOVITIS IN CAMPO. With a total surface of around 1,100 hectares in one single estate, Ca’ Tron makes up the biggest farm in a single unit in the region of Triveneto. As intended by the Fondazione Cassamarca, – which acquired it in the year 2000 – the farm is becoming an important research and development centre in the primary sector. The presence at Ca’ Tron of a 30-hectare experimental vineyard will be particularly interesting for the visitors of the exhibition. This vineyard is technically “on the cutting edge” and was created to obtain a high-quality production, fully respectful of the environment and in a pleasant context, also from an aesthetic point of view. Besides production purposes, the plantation has as its main aim to put a structure at the disposal of institutions and organizations operating in the wine-growing and producing sector: In this structure, the 5-6 most innovative cultivation forms are used and compared, by which high-quality grapes can be obtained with different levels of mechanization in the various growing operations (pruning, harvesting, heading, pesticide defence and ground management).
While waiting for the June appointment, the event organization is moving at full rate: a great interest is shown by the most important Italian and foreign manufacturers of vineyard machines and equipment, who announced their participation in advance, with a wide range of products.
The figures of the edition 2008 Exhibitors: 100 Visitors: 6,000 Provenience: all the Italian regions (presence of foreign trade operators too)
